The magnetic field at an unknown Planet!

The area around a magnet where magnetic effects can be felt is called the magnetic field.
The unit of the magnetic field is Tesla [1].

But, what is a magnetic field?

Take two magnets and bring them closer to each other but do not let them touch each other. The force you feel at this point is known as the magnetic force/magnetic field. Powerful magnets can be used in various ways such as bullet trains, lifting cranes, etc.

What makes a bullet train travel at lightning speed approaching 320 km/hr?

It uses two sets of magnets, one set to repel and push the train up off the track, and another set to move the elevated train ahead, taking advantage of the lack of friction [2].
Our planet Earth also possesses its magnetic field which protects us from the deadly radiations emitted from the sun. If it weren't for Earth's magnetism, life on this planet would not be possible!

In every several hundred thousand years, the Earth's field reverses, and the North and South Magnetic Poles abruptly switch places.
